A Letter from the President

I speak on behalf of all of our brothers, active and alumni, when I say that your interest is appreciated. We encourage you to explore our website to get a greater feel for our fraternity, our chapter, and our members. 

Alpha Kappa Psi is the oldest and largest professional business fraternity in the nation. It prides itself on being the premier developer of principled business leaders and the Mu Rho Chapter defines this vision by illuminating the values of brotherhood, knowledge, integrity, service and unity to our students. These students include selected entrants in the Professional Program in Accounting,  the Professional Program in Finance, Dean’s List Recipients, competitive scholarship award winners, Davidson Management Honors Program, Collegium V Honors College, and interns at some of the nation’s premier business firms. After UT Dallas, our alumni have gone on to hold prestigious positions all across the country in every major sector of the business world. With incoming pledges that have historically ranged from former military members to international students, we are proud of the diverse network of motivated individuals that continues to define our chapter. 

Our alumni give back in professional development through panel series and networking events. Similarly, our members develop leadership skills through various opportunities in the pledge process, which are then directly translated to bolster Alpha Kappa Psi’s vision as they cross over.

In addition, the Mu Rho chapter values the community around UT Dallas which has fostered many dedicated individuals who have crossed over and the close knit bonds that are forged in pledging and beyond. We are dedicated to our brothers with various social events that strive to build brotherhood, unity, and to our community with service events to develop future leaders.

I cannot stress enough that admittance to Alpha Kappa Psi is so much more than another resume box checked or another club to talk about. You will join a family that encompasses the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, and the UAE  who are filled with brothers that share a common set of values, motivations, and visions. Since my own very first pledge meeting, I have felt right at home. The people I was grateful to pledge with and brothers I grew with upon crossing, have shaped my character today immensely. I truly have found a family in my time here and look forward to the years to come.
